Madrid is the capital of Spain and of the Autonomous Community of Madrid. It is the largest city in Spain, with a population of 3.2 million inhabitants. It is the third largest city in the European Union. Its Larger Urban Zone (LUZ) has a population of 6 million inhabitants.
